Monsoon Tea: Chao Phraya Blend

Meet Northern Thailand’s wild tea. Monsoon Tea was established in 2013 by a group of forest enthusiasts & tea lovers. Grown freely in harmony with the nature and forests of the north, these native tea plants are carefully planted and harvested by local farmers. No pesticides, no irrigation system, no fertilizers, and most importantly, no deforestation. This is the most sustainable, “forest-friendly” way to grow tea, as it is a very common practice in this part of the country to log down our forests to make tea plantations. We love being able to support the community and environment through this delicious tea! Monsoon offers many varieties-- from lightly to fully oxidized. From the classics to creative twists and aromatic flavors. Whatever you are in the mood for, they’ve got you covered. Monsoon tea is always handpicked and artisan produced. This is their "Chao Phraya Blend" - brings together the classic Lanna Oolong (lightly mature and fruity) with honey sweet longan, slightly sweet tart mangosteen, delicate rose, and fragrant chrysanthemum, producing a golden color infusion. Serving Suggestion: Use 3 grams of loose tea (approximately 2 teaspoons) per 200ml of 95C boiling water. Let it steep for 2-3 minutes. Good to note: This product is loose tea leaves, with no bags. You’ll need a tea pot / infuser (check Lazada if you don’t have one!).
