Alaskan Salmon Steak Beurre Noisette

Beurre noisette means hazelnut butter although no hazelnuts are used in its production – it’s more about it being a hazelnut colour with a slightly nutty taste, it's one of those magical ingredients that transforms the flavour of just about anything be it sweet or savoury into something magical. The salmon steak, baked to perfection, heavily doused with the beurre noisette as well as lemon butter and served with baked potatoes is just a mouthgasm waiting to happen. The flavours combine so well that each fork needs to have all 3; the sum is greater than the parts as they say.
