Blackened Salmon with a flavorful crispy crust smothered in creamy Cajun sauce on your table in less than 15 minutes (we seriously recommend heating this meal in an oven!). What is "Blackened"? Are we burning your food? Not exactly! “Blackened” is a cooking technique associated with Cajun cuisine. The specific spice blend varies from chef to chef, but it usually includes paprika, garlic powder, dried oregano, cayenne, and salt. The fish is then covered in this seasoning rub and then fried in a skillet to achieve a dark crust which is absolutely delicious. To give the dish a little "zing", we serve the meal in a creamy Cajun sauce that has plenty of influence from the Louisiana kitchen.  Heating instructions For best result defrost overnight in the fridge. Oven (recommended): Remove the plastic lid and place the container in the oven at 145-155C. Bake for about 10-15 minutes. Microwave: Transfer to a microwave-proof dish and place in microwave on high for 4-5 minutes, stirring halfway through. Ingredients: Wild-caught Alaskan Coho Salmon, dill, cajun spice, tomato, shallot, garlic, paprika, organic coconut milk, sliced almond, coriander, bell peppers. Allergy warning: Contains nuts (almond).
