Curtido' Style Sauerkraut

The third in our collaboration series of ferments with our friends at The Serial Pickler! This is an absolutely delicious take on sauerkraut, inspired by the famous condiment from El Salvador called curtido. It brings together the classic Latin American flavor combo of oregano, cumin, and chili peppers (in this case jalapeño) to the sauerkraut with a bit of carrot and salt. Just the right mix of spice, savory, and crunch. A very unique product and a must try (in our humble opinion 😉). Great on its own or served alongside your favorite protein as a side dish or as a condiment for any Mexican/Latin American inspired meal. Ingredients: Organic cabbage, carrots, cumin, jalapeño, oregano, salt.
