This product is uncooked Wild sockeye salmon, skinless and wrapped in Sloane's nitrate-free bacon, filled with a fresh gremolata sauce (made from chopped parsley, lemon zest, and fresh garlic). Perfect to simply pan-fry or oven roast at home. Great for an easy lunch or dinner alongside some of our "heat & eat" side dishes. Cooking Direction: For best results remove the item from the freezer, place it on a plate or tray and allow it to thaw in the fridge overnight. Pan Fry: Heat up a skillet over low-medium heat and place the salmon fillet while the pan is still cold. This will render out the fat from the bacon and give the pan a coating. Fry the fillet until the bacon has a golden brown color. Flip the fillet and continue cooking till the bacon is crisp. Each side should take about 3-4 minutes. The salmon is perfectly safe to consume a bit undercooked or still pink in the middle. Oven Roast: Preheat your oven to 180c. Place the salmon fillet on an oven-safe tray, position the tray on the middle rack, and roast for 6-8 minutes. Place the tray closer to the top for a few minutes for crispy bacon.
