Dark Rye Crisps - Fazer

This is Fazer's 100% sourdough Dark Rye crisp. Why "dark?" It's bolder and sweeter than the original, with flavor developed over a longer bake. Try it with some prosciutto, mozzarella or a creamier cheese, cherry tomatoes...or just about anything that calls for a great cracker. About the producer: Fazer is a Finnish institution 🇫🇮 They've been baking since 1891. Their famous rye crisps are the classic "salty crunch" cracker. The 100% rye flour gives them a deep, "toasty" flavor and a great nutrition panel - tons of prebiotic fiber, low GI, and loaded with minerals that are often stripped out of refined grains. Fazer's crisps are sourdough too, meaning it gets a slightly fruity, malty note and some of the natural gluten is "pre-digested" by the fermentation process. (Still not gluten-free, but sourdough often digests better than processed bread because of this for anybody that is gluten-sensitive.) Ingredients: Wholegrain rye flour, rye bran, rye & barley malt, yeast, sugar, iodized salt. Baked with sourdough.
