But hey, we enjoy a refreshing juice too! If you’re careful about what’s in there, green juices can be a great way to add extra vitamins and minerals to your diet and enjoy a refreshing drink at the same time. Great as a soda or sugar-heavy fruit juice replacement for you or the family…or if you have fussy veggie eater in the house ;) How to “juice” right: - Look for only cold-pressed juices. The “sterilized” juices you see on supermarket shelves have been treated with some kind of processing (whether high pressure or high temperature) to give them long shelf life. We cold press your juice order daily, on the morning of your delivery. - Look out for “sugar bombs!” Most fruit juices are so high in sugar that you might as well drink a can of Coke (except those fruit juices are marketed as healthy!). We deliberately set out to make some juice varieties that are vegetable-heavy, and use only a small amount of fruit (apple, coconut, pineapple, or lemon) juice in each bottle to mellow out the intense veggie flavors. - Look out for pesticides! If it’s super cheap, you can be sure the fruit & veg that went into it were far from organic. Our juices cost more, but they are made 100% pesticide-free produce! Good luck finding that at the supermarket :) This is our "sweetest" flavor, where we use apple juice (quite sweet) to mellow out the intense greens. Total sugar content is kept below 10g/bottle however. The ingredients are only: - spinach - broccoli - cucumber - ginger - kale - lemon -apple (~5%) Enjoy!
