A delicious, slow-cooked barbacoa made from our grass-fed NZ beef. We use onion, garlic, jalapeño, oregano, cumin, homemade chipotle adobo, tomato, coriander, cilantro, paprika, chili, oranges and lime for a spicy and slightly citrus-tangy flavor following traditional Mexican recipes. Served with a roasted avocado, homemade pickles, red cabbage, and other light veggies for a hearty Mexican meal. Comes with our homemade red picante salsa on the side. High fat and protein and relatively low in carbs make this meal fairly keto-friendly. Reheating recommendation: Microwave: Remove the salsa cup and then microwave for 2-3 minutes on medium-high. Oven: Place food on plate and then reheat at 160C for 8-10 minutes.
