Frequently asked questions


Ordering and Cancelling meals

How do I place an order?

Simply go to our menu at paleorobbie.com/mealplan and choose the meals you’d like to have the following week. Leave your details and of course, don't forget to make the payment at the end. Once the payment is confirmed we'll deliver your selected meals automatically. All you need to do then is eat and enjoy. 

Our menu for the following week is uploaded every Wednesday at 11am. To ensure delivery on Monday, we ask that you place your order before Friday 5pm. For all other orders we require a 36 hour advance notice. We also have a 36h cancellation period. 

If I forgot to order before Friday 5 PM can I still get my order in for next week?

Yes, of course. We might not be able to deliver your first meal on Monday but you can order meals for the rest of the week keeping our 36 hour notice in mind. 

Why do I need to order 36 hours in advance?

Not only are we very picky about the ingredients we use, we only order exactly what we need and use from small farms because organic vegetables are costly and need to be super fresh so we don't keep extra stock. We also use slow cooking techniques "we cook like your grandmother used to do". For example our Pasture-fed New Zealand Brisket dishes that require 24 hours of slow braising. The result is a healthy hearty dish that melts in your mouth. 

Can I cancel my order?

Yes, you can, however, we do require 36 hours notice before any cancellations as we need to place our order to the local farms in advance. We cannot offer refunds for same-day cancellations nor for notifications the day before the delivery as we have already procured all the ingredients needed to cook the meal.

I would like to cancel a particular meal, will I be refunded?

Please let us know two days in advance and we'll cancel the meal and refund the cost of the meal back to your paleo wallet as in-store credit. If you let us know a day before or on the day then we would not be able to refund but we are able to postpone the delivery to a later hour or to the day after.

Can I edit my order?

If you currently hold a Savage, Warrior or Chieftain package then you can edit or cancel your order after payment. Non-package holders cannot edit their order after paying. If you’d like to add to your order, please place another order and send our team an email at [email protected], and we will refund the additional delivery fee as in-store credit.

Can I view my previous orders?

Of course. You can access your order history on your account. You can find this on the top right of any page. 

Can I try out your meals first before committing to a package?

Absolutely. You can try out as many meals as you’d like. We highly encourage you to order three or more meals during your first week to get a sense of the different varieties of meals we offer.  

Can I save multiple addresses?

Certainly. You can add multiple addresses under the 'Delivery Addresses' tab on your account. 


Paying for my meals

How do I pay?

Our payment methods include Bank transfer, PayPal, or Credit card (Visa, Mastercard & American Express). We do not accept cash payments. 

How to do I confirm a bank transfer payment once I’ve transferred the amount?

Please take a photo of your transfer slip, then you would need to go to “My Account” -> Order History, and then go to your order which you’d like to confirm. Once you’ve clicked on your order, there will be a field at the bottom, please fill in the fields and press the “upload photo” button. Once you have completed this step, your order is confirmed. Please do not send an SMS/Email of the photo, you will need to log into your account to confirm your order.

How much do you charge for delivery?

We charge 60 Baht per delivery in Central Bangkok. The delivery charge might vary if you live outside the city center. If you'd like to know how much we'll charge you can simply make an order and fill in your postal code. The shipping fee will be displayed in your shopping cart.

Can I order food without pre-paying for a package?

Yes, however, there will be a 10% service charge added to your bill. 

 Do I have to tip the driver?

We pay our delivery staff quite well relative to other services, so you should by no means feel obligated to tip them. If they go out of their way to help you and you would like to leave them a tip this would, of course, be appreciated by them. Any tip given to them is entirely theirs and not shared by the company or other staff. 


Preparing my meals

How are Paleo meals made?

Our meals are made completely from scratch every day with the healthiest, freshest and pesticide-free produce directly from local small farms. Our meals are 100% gluten-free, antibiotic-free, pesticide free and made without added sugars, preservatives, processed foods. 

I have dietary allergies or restrictions. Can you still cook for me?

Definitely. We can tailor meals for you by removing certain ingredients from the meals. Before placing your order, you can edit your preferences/dislikes under “My Account”. We do however cook our meals in bulk so if we cannot remove an ingredient for a certain meal, we will get in touch with you. If you order a tomato-based dish but are allergic to tomato then this would be a hard task for us to replace. Please do not leave your allergy remarks in the comments section of your order as our systems are automated, you need to select your preferences under “My Account”.

How long does the food stay fresh for?

If you refrigerate the meals immediately after your delivery, your meals will stay fresh for 2-4 days. We do however recommend that the fish and salad dishes be eaten the same day. Also please note we do not use any preservatives and all meals are made entirely from unprocessed foods, so some may spoil quicker than others and it's up to your best judgement. In general, we recommend eating your meals on the day of delivery for the best taste and experience.

How many calories are in each meal?

The average for fish and salad dishes is around 500-700 calories for a Regular sized meal and 300-400 for a Half sized meal. The Beef/Lamb/Pork dishes range between 800 and 1,100 calories with the average being around 900 for a Regular sized meal and 500 for a Half sized meal.

How do I heat up my meals?

1. Oven (recommended): Simply pre-heat your oven to 140-160c with the fan and place your food inside for 5-15 minutes. Meals that contain larger meat servings (lamb shanks, beef brisket, slabs of pork) may require a few extra minutes in the oven. After 5 minutes it’s best to try and then decide whether it needs a bit longer in the oven or not.

2. Pan-fry (for experts): If you’re comfortable around the stove then pan frying is a good way to reheat your meal. It may take a bit longer to reheat, but you’ll retain more of the fresh taste and texture of the food. Never use high heat for reheating the meal in a pan. Simply place your meal inside the pan on low to medium heat and cover with a lid for approximately 4-5 minutes. Then check every 3-4 minutes to see if the meal is hot enough for you. Meals that contain larger meat servings (lamb shank, beef brisket, boston pork steak) may require a few extra minutes in the pan.

3. Microwave: Place your meal in the microwave at medium or even low setting for 2-3 minutes. Meals that contain larger meat servings (lamb shack, beef brisket, boston pork steak) may require an extra minute in the microwave. It’s best to try after every 2 minutes to make sure you don’t accidentally nuke the be-jingles out of the food. Food left in the microwave too long can become chewy and soggy and that wouldn’t make anyone happy.

P.S. If there is medium rare meat in your meal (and you prefer it to stay that way) it might be best to separate the meat from the rest, as the vegetables will require a little more time to warm up properly.


Delivering my meals

Are the meals delivered daily or all at once?

The meals are delivered daily (meaning Monday's meals are delivered only on Monday, etc). The meals are freshly prepared for you each morning so we cannot deliver them on other days.

Can you deliver to my office for lunch and my home for dinner?

Yes, but if on the same day, you'll have to place a second order if you want the second meal to be delivered at a different address or different time.

We work in the same office, can we all place an order and only pay 1 delivery fee?

If you wish to enjoy only 1 delivery fee, please place your order through 1 account.

How are the meals delivered to me?

The meals are delivered chilled in re-usable BPA-free containers anywhere in Bangkok. You can also choose to have your meals delivered in disposable containers. To help us reduce our footprint we prefer you use our high-quality re-usable containers. We made these available free of charge and ask your help to return them to us as often as possible. 

What time do you deliver?

We deliver anytime between 9am and 9pm. 

Why do you require a 2-hour time frame for delivery?

We all know how Bangkok traffic can get, especially during rush hour or God forbid rain during rush hour. This is why we ask for a 2-hour window in case we have to deal with heavy traffic jams, flat tires, floods, hurricanes and sinkholes etc. 

Where do you deliver to?

We deliver everywhere in Bangkok as well as to areas like Nichada Thani and Samut Prakan (Mega Bang-Na).

What if I am not around when the delivery arrives?

There's no need to be present during delivery. We can leave your meals at your reception/security booth or with your housekeeper/staff as long as they are aware and we are allowed to do so. When we leave the meals outside please collect them within a few minutes or have them placed in a refrigerator. Our meals are made with natural fresh ingredients only and do not contain any preservatives. Exposed to Bangkok heat they will spoil quickly. If we are unable to get in contact with you, and not able to leave your meal at the reception, we’ll bring the meal back for cold storage and will get in touch with you to arrange another delivery for later during the day. If we’re not able to get in contact, we will consider the meal cancelled and non-refundable.

I received the phone call but I'm not able to come down for at least another 15 minutes, can they wait?

Our deliveryman will wait as long as he can but please note that to avoid delaying other client's deliveries, we would need to ask to be able to leave 10 minutes after arrival. 

I selected the wrong delivery address or want to change the address, what can I do?

If you haven't already, please add the correct address to your account at https://paleorobbie.com/address and then get in contact with our Customer Service team at [email protected] to let them know. They will then assist you to amend the delivery address. To ensure that your meal arrives at the most convenient timing for you, please let us know a day in advance if you'd like to amend the delivery address.

Why do you require a 2-hour time frame for delivery?

Can I request a specific delivery time, say, 11:00 sharp?

We will do our best but cannot promise as it would depend on the volume of delivery on that day.

I’d like to change my delivery times/location, how do I do that?

Please send our team an email at [email protected]. Please note we need to be informed the day before in order to amend your delivery time or location.



How do I return the containers?

The reusable containers can be handed back to our delivery staff or left at the same place your meals are dropped off at. You can hand them over to our staff with your next delivery or schedule a container pick up in your account settings. 

How do I tell others about Paleo Robbie?
