An amazing darker soy sauce that delivers ALL the flavor you want from a darker soy sauce. Great to have in the pantry to deliver its deep flavor to stir-fries, marinades, and dipping sauces, especially for dishes like sashimi, cold tofu, and grilled fish. Adachi Jozo is a long-running soy sauce and miso maker based in Taka Town, Hyogo. The company also has over 130 years of history in soy sauce and miso making. They stick to traditional brewing methods using wooden barrels and focus on using domestically grown organic soybeans and wheat with a goal of using the least amount of additives possible. This particular Organic Dark Shoyu is aged for more than a year in a wooden barrel that has been passed down for more than 100 years, bringing out the unique aroma and umami.
