Royal Bee Honey (น้ำผึ้งหลวงป่า หินลาดใน) is cultivated by Hin Lad Nai community of Pgakenyaw people where they live in harmony and care for over 10,000-Rai (around 4,000-Acre) of forest. Wild Royal bees make their hives up to 20-30 meters above ground, so this honey in particular requires specialized collectors who are capable of climbing those very tall trees. Not only it is a very difficult task but they are also only able to collect the honey only in May or during the summer. Due to its natural antibacterial properties, this honey is untreated. Raw wild honey contains healthful bee pollen, bee propolis, and plenty of antioxidants You can read more about the Pgakenyaw people of Hin Lad Nai here or read an article in Thai from The Cloud here. *Children under the age of 1 should not consume because wild honey is high in enzymes.
