Organic Brown Rice: Kao Wisut

Kao Wisut rice (ข้าวกล้องพันธุ์ขาววิสุทธิ์) was developed by Kaenkhamkla Philanoi or P’ Tulang and his team over at Thai Isan Farmers (ชาวนาไทอีสาน). Their goal is to develop organic brown rice with high yield through conventional breeding. This one in particular has a chewy texture similar to waxy corn. You can read more about P’ Tulang here.
