Wild Bigfin Reef Squid

Wild-sustainably-caught seafood from the pristine turquoise water of Southern Thailand. Every night, our fisherman takes his small boat out to the ocean and return within a few hours. Because of the unique, cliff-like topography of the Andaman that makes deep water fishing more accessible, our fishermen are able to catch many varieties of abundant seafood from their short 10-mile trip. Unlike other squid (ปลาหมึกหอม) in the market, this one has never touched chlorine-tap-water, keeping the freshness as long as we possibly could. You'll taste it in the natural sweetness of the meat that's got just enough bite, but is not too chewy. The Big Fin Reef squid is known for its thicker, meatier texture when compared to calamari. Famous for any spicy Thai stir-fried dishes like 'pad-cha' (ผัดฉ่า), or perfectly just as delicious in tomato-y seafood stew with its shellfish friends :) 🦑🦐🐟
