Reheat Your Way To Better Health
February 23, 2023

When the rain or traffic ruins your dinner plans, or on those days you'd rather Netflix and chilli con carne with the family instead of cooking, did you know you can still eat a restaurant-quality, real food meal with almost zero effort?

Our paleo ready meals are the perfect insurance against overtime at work, a last-minute dinner cancellation, or just a rainy/lazy day, with over 28+ Ready Meals to choose from - there’s something for everyone in the family.

Each meal is made using 100% whole foods and pasture-raised meat or wild-caught fish - we are the only place in Thailand where you can find 100% whole food ready meals.

We don't use any emulsifiers, high-fructose corn syrup, Polysorbate 80 or any other additives that are common with ready meals to increase shelf-life. Studies show these additives can build up in your gut and lead to long-term metabolic health problems (1).

All of our ready meals come only in our Jumbo size, with some packing over 1,200 calories of nutrient-dense proteins and veggies 💪

Because of our huge portion sizing and the fact we don't use chemical agents in our food, this means a little more finesse is needed in re-heating our meals correctly - so we’ve laid out how to do that below.

How to thaw and reheat our paleo ready meals like a champ

For the best possible dinner experience, use the following guide to thaw and reheat your meals:

1. Thawing - we recommend thawing meals overnight in your fridge to eat the following day. If you're in a rush, let it sit on your countertop for 3-4 hours until fully thawed. If you’re really in a rush, you can submerge the base of the casserole tray in warm water for half an hour or so, which will soften up the meal enough to ready for reheating in the oven. We do not advise to heat our meals directly from frozen, as this can result in an uneven cook.

2. Reheating - we recommend using an oven, preheat at 160c, then heat your meal for 15 minutes. If using a microwave we recommended heating at 6-8min at 600w.

If you regularly order our Ready Meals or Meal Plan, our Borosilicate Glass Container (1250m) is a great piece of kitchen equipment to have for reheating all types of food. They are oven and microwave friendly and ensure your meal won't burn as opposed to using a plate.

Alternatively, you can place your ready meal directly in the microwave or oven as our containers are oven and microwave-safe (please remove the plastic lid before heating).

→ Seize the opportunity this week to stock up a few Ready Meals to fall back on in case of a food emergency, they can be stored in your freezer for up to 6 months! Once thawed should be consumed within 3 days.
